Where can I see a list of my employees?

Click on the Settings tab and then on the Manage Employees link.

To view inactive employees click the Inactive employees link.

Employees can be marked inactive, but not deleted. This restriction allows ServiceSidekick to maintain accurate history. To mark an employee as inactive:

  • Click on the Settings tab and then on the Manage Employees link.
  • Click the employee name link, then the Edit employee link in the right sidebar.
  • Mark the employee as inactive and update the employee record.

Employee permissions allow restricting an employee from performing certain actions. For example, a new employee might be restricted from deleting customer or job records.

What does it mean to make an employee an admin?

An admin has full permissions to see all pages and perform all actions in ServiceSidekick.

Exception: Only the account owner can cancel the ServiceSidekick account.

What is the difference between an account owner and an admin?

Both the account owner and admins have full permissions in ServiceSidekick. The only differences are:

  • Only the account owner can cancel the ServiceSidekick account.
  • The account owner employee cannot be marked inactive.
